Slimming World's Woman of the Year 2018
Saturday 3rd November saw Slimming World’s Woman of the Year awards ceremony take place in Birmingham, and what a night it was!
Sparkly dresses and tuxedos were donned as our three Woman of the Year National Finalists appeared on stage in an awards ceremony presented by our founder and chairman Margaret Miles-Bramwell, alongside the inimitable Rylan Clark-Neal.
Our three stunning finalists, who between them have lost over 32 stones between them, were:
- Nicola Hardy, from Kegworth, who’s lost 7 stone 6½lbs
- Clare O’Connell, from Earlswood, Surrey, who’s lost 7 stone 9½lbs
- Maxine Wren, from Chester-le-Street group, who’s lost 17 stone 7½lbs
Huge congratulations go to all our finalists, who really illustrate how Slimming World really does change lives.
And our Woman of the Year 2018 is...
Maxine Wren, who turned down weight-loss surgery and is now 17½st* lighter and 13 dress sizes smaller! Maxine shares her inspirational story here.
