It's time for Woman of the Year again!
Saturday 4th November saw Slimming World’s Woman of the Year awards ceremony take place in Birmingham, and what a night it was!
Sparkly dresses and tuxedos were slipped on as our 10 Woman of the Year National finalists appeared on stage in an awards ceremony presented by our founder and chairman Margaret Miles-Bramwell, alongside the Mysterious Girl singer Peter Andre.
Our 10 jaw-dropping finalists, who between them have lost over 100 stones between them, were:
- Anne McCallum, from Donna Graham’s Dunfermline group, who’s lost 8 stone 7½lbs
- Michelle Russell, from Penny Dunn’s Bedworth group, who’s lost 12 stone 12½lbs
- Emma Ogden, from Lisa Graham’s Coalpit Heath group, who’s lost 11 stone 10½lbs
- Tracey Yale, from Anthea Auld’s Mickleover group, who’s lost 10 stone 11lbs
- Katie Garner, from Julie Gore’s Bootle group, who’s lost 13 stone 3½lbs
- Claire Wills, from Joanne Wassell’s Stourbridge group, who’s lost 10 stone 2½lbs
- Melanie Jones, from Jennifer Blevin’s Burnley group, who’s lost 11 stone 12½lbs
- Niamh Small, from Dolores Donnelly’s Belfast group, who’s lost 8 stone 9lbs
- Fay Marshall, from Charlene Griffith’s Enfield Vineyard group, who’s lost 8 stone 8lbs
- Cressida Bowden, from Helena Warnes’ Bethel group, who’s lost 8 stone 11lbs
