Iʼve had a lifelong battle with my weight and was always on a diet. They worked temporarily, but – feeling hungry and deprived – I could never sustain them. In desperation, I joined my local Slimming World group 13 years ago. Little did I know that day would change my life forever. I not only lost weight, without the hunger and endless calorie counting Iʼd previously endured, but it also led me onto an exciting new career path as a Slimming World Consultant and later as a Local Area Manager. My groups are warm and friendly and members are losing weight beautifully on our generous family-friendly eating plan. Members are also helped to uncover their own psychological barriers that stop them from losing weight long term.
