When I joined Slimming World in May 2016, I was the heaviest Iʼd ever been – even heavier than during two pregnancies – and I was getting out of breath just walking up the stairs. I knew something had to change... Even so, I canʼt tell you how nervous I was, walking through the doors of my local Slimming World group. Having been bullied for my weight all my life, I thought the people there would stare and judge me – how wrong was I! Everyone was so warm and welcoming and I soon felt part of the family. Having lost 4st 9½lbs, I decided I wanted to help others make a change, too. So I trained as a Consultant in September 2020 (in the middle of the pandemic!) and now Iʼm helping lots of gorgeous members. Let me help you on your journey, too.
