Geraldine at Caherdavin Scout Hall

I joined Slimming World in August 2017 because I was disgusted at photos of how big I’d become. My self-esteem was very low and I knew I had to try something to become healthier – I’d tried every diet on the market. I heard that a Slimming World group had opened up close to my home, so I thought I would try it. I lost 4lbs in my first week and I’ve never looked back. I’m now at target having lost 4st 9lbs and have maintained it since June 2018. I’m now a Consultant with my own group in Caherdavin Scout Hall, every Saturday morning. It’s a welcoming and fun group! Everyone is so supportive, sharing successes and even some hiccups every week. Lots of our members have become friends. See you there!
